Goniatites are extinct ammonoids shelled cephalopods related to squid octopus and belemnites. The goniatites all possessed an external shell which is divided internally into chambers. Goniatite is said to assist one in seeing the 'whole picture. ' It is a protective stone, and adds stability to user. It is good for deep meditation! It is considered a stone of good luck and prosperity, and is said to help one connect with Mother Earth.
