1. Using Sage (Smudging)

A smudge sage stick:

A fireproof dish or bowl (to catch falling ash).

A lighter or matches.

Optional: Feather or fan to help direct smoke.

5. Extinguish the Stick: Once you’re done, you can press the stick into the dish to stop the smoldering or place it in a container of sand to extinguish it.
