Yagra
Yagra is a white, slightly pearlescent resin, originally from India. In appearance it is similar to camphor, but it is softer and more mild. Since ancient times it has been used as an incense due to its association with wealth and abundance, both in a material an immaterial sense. Money, business opportunities, love, all these benefits are associated with the use of Yagra. Even carrying a pinch of it in your wallet is said to bring prosperity.
Each pack contains 8 sticks that burn for ±60 minutes.
Sagrada Madre
Sagrada Madre means 'Holy Mother', Pancha Mama, and this name refers to how they handle the resources of our Earth. For harvesting Sagrada Madre uses only the older branches that have naturally fallen from the tree. They work directly with indigenous communities in Peru and Argentina to plant Palo Santo trees and combat deforestation. Sagrada Madre also takes care to plant more trees than they consume.
Besides coal, as a combustion agent, they use a scentless fruit-based biomass. Each year over 100 tons of fruit biomass is discarded from industrial processing such as juice making. Rather than letting these materials go to waste, Sagrada Madre effectively reuses them in their incense.
All Sagrada Madre incense varieties are carefully packed in attractive, natural packaging material, in order to have the smallest possible impact on the environment.
